Mark Sanchez will likely be a game-time decision for New York's game against Chicago on Sunday.
Sanchez has a sore throwing shoulder and has been limited in practice all week.
"I think I underestimated where he was with that injury," coach Rex Ryan said. "This one could be more of a game-time type decision than I thought it would be."
Sanchez has a cartilage tear in his throwing arm, according to a source.
