The Panthers are preparing to find long-term coach John Fox's successor after the season. Fox, 72-69, entered his ninth season with an expiring contract and there have been no indications he will be back. Philadelphia's Sean McDermott, Cincinnati's Mike Zimmer and the New York Giants' Perry Fewell are among the defensive coordinators the Panthers could consider.
