The Eagles have removed cornerback Ellis Hobbs from their starting lineup and replaced him with Dimitri Patterson. Hobbs allowed Tennessee's Kenny Britt to have a career day last weekend in Philadelphia's loss. "It was a surprise, but it's an opportunity, so I'm grateful for it," Patterson said of his promotion. "Any time I'm able to get on the field, it's a beautiful thing. I just try to go in there and make a statement. That's my goal. If I get five reps in a game, I'm trying to make a statement to everybody in the league and I'm going to do that Sunday and for the rest of my career." Britt had seven receptions for 225 yards and three touchdowns for the Titans.
