After Sunday's loss to the Steelers, the Dolphins continued to insist that they recovered the football when Ben Roethlisberger fumbled near the goal line in the fourth quarter. Pittsburgh's Jeff Reed was able to kick the game-winning field goal on fourth down after officials determined that Roethlisberger had fumbled before crossing Miami's goal line but they could not determine who recovered the loose ball in the end zone. The Steelers were awarded the ball at the Dolphins' half-yard line. "Nobody else had that ball but me," Dolphins linebacker Ikaika Alama-Francis said. "I wasn't going to let it go. Damn right, I had it. I'm getting up with the ball and I'm hearing white ball, white ball. I came up with the ball and I wasn't going to let it go. "I was confident we had the ball and it was a touchback for us and we win the game. That ball was tucked under my armpit and it wasn't going nowhere. I was the first one on the ball and it shows, and I know I had it."
