We are six weeks into the 2010 season and the redundant refrain of now knowing which teams are good or bad continues. Let's again throw the Chargers out of the top slot as an undeserving outlier, which leaves the Steelers, Giants, Falcons, Eagles and Jets as the true top-five. It is difficult to argue with any of those teams being legitimately amongst the top-10, but only the Steelers and Jets are without a true stain on their season. The Colts, Saints and Patriots are within striking distance at 11, 15 and 16, while the Bears, Chiefs, Dolphins, Titans need to still put a bigger body of work together before they are undoubtedly believable. The Trench Counter formula creates a completely objective examination. The true intention of this type of ranking system is to identify teams that may be over or underrated. 1.
