Brett Favre declined an attempt to meet with the NFL last week regarding a league investigation into his conduct with the Jets two seasons ago, according to sources. Favre will interview with NFL security chief Milt Alherich this week. Alherich served 25 years with the FBI before joining the league as its security chief. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will only meet with Favre if the league's investigation provides evidence that the quarterback has possibly violated the league's personal-conduct policy.
