The Omaha Nighthawks of the UFL have confirmed their interest in former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett. Rick Mueller, the team's general manager, issued a statement on Tuesday saying he wanted to help Clarett take "positive steps toward being the good citizen and solid family man that he aspires to be." Clarett pleaded guilty in 2006 to aggravated robbery and carrying a concealed weapon and served 3? years in a Toledo prison.
