Nate Burleson signed a five-year, $25 million deal with the Lions and he's eager to prove he's worth the investment. "When I first met with them, I talked," Burleson said. "I said: 'Hey, look. I just signed here. The politics of football is that I'm going to play, just because I got paid.' But my job is to come in and prove that I'm worth the money and give you guys everything that I've got. I'm going to go out every day and try to be the best receiver on the field and have the most catches, try to make the most plays and stand out the most. And I think they respected that."
