LaDainian Tomlinson spent nine seasons with the Chargers, but is ready to get to work with the Jets. "It doesn't take me very long to transition into a new team," said Tomlinson, who signed with New York in March after the Chargers released him in February. Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer was San Diego's quarterbacks coach from 2002-05, so Tomlinson is expecting a smooth transition to his new team. "There wasn't much I had to learn, because I've run this type of offense pretty much my whole career," Tomlinson said.
