Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum says that the team is committed to giving cornerback Darrelle Revis a long-term contract. The Daily News first reported Thursday that Revis chose not to participate in the voluntary session because he was unhappy with his contractual situation. "Darrelle's actions always speak louder than his words," said a league source. "He's a foundation for this organization," Tannenbaum said. "He's a role model for our players. Within reason, we want to sign him to an extension that will keep him here long-term....If we can find a deal that's good for both sides, we'd like to get something done. When that happens? That's hard to say."
