Colts defensive end Robert Mathis wants a new contract from the team. The two-time Pro Bowler is avoiding ongoing organized team activities, a source told the Indianapolis Star. The practices are voluntary, but Mathis has always participated in the past. Mathis has two years remaining on a front-loaded $30 million contract he signed in 2006. He's due a base salary of $2.31 million this season and $2.4 million in 2011.
