Martellus Bennett disappeared from the Cowboys passing game in 2009 after a promising rookie season in 2008. Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett sees progress, even if the numbers indicate otherwise. "His development over the course of these first two seasons have been outstanding,'' Garrett said. "His contributions as a blocker have been significant. He's grown from a technical standpoint as well as an emotional standpoint about how to play in a game. "Certainly, we'd like him to emerge (as a receiver) a little bit more. A little bit of that is a confidence level in the passing game, getting comfortable with what we're doing and being able to take what he's doing in practice to the game. "What we're excited about with Martellus is he has ability, his approach is the right approach and he's going to get more opportunities.''
