Miles Austin has been given the highest-level tender offer by the Cowboys, guaranteeing them first- and third-round draft pick compensation if he signs with another team.
Austin would make $3.168 million in 2010, following a breakout year in which he recorded 81 catches for 1,320 yards and 11 touchdowns.
It is Austin's second consecutive year as a restricted free agent. He played under the second-round tender in 2009, at $1.545 million.
