The NFL named former All-Pro cornerback Troy Vincent vice president of player development for active players on Thursday.
Vincent, who will join the league office on February 22, was a five-time Pro Bowler who played for Miami, Philadelphia, Buffalo and Washington.
He was president of the NFL Players Association for four years until March 2008.
