The Steelers don't plan to play safety Ryan Clark on Monday against the Broncos, according to an NFL source.
Clark has a rare blood condition that nearly cost him his life following his last game in Denver back in 2007.
He was hospitalized when complications from sickle-cell trait prevented oxygen from flowing into his spleen.
Clark later needed operations to remove his spleen and gall bladder.
Pittsburgh will play Denver on Monday Night Football.
