Agent Bob LaMonte has confirmed that the Eagles and head coach Andy Reid are closing in on a contract extension. "Andy definitely wants to stay in Philadelphia, and the team definitely wants him to stay in Philadelphia," LaMonte told the Philadelphia Inquirer. LaMonte confirmed reports from last week that the sides are in the midst of negotiations. Reid's current contract runs through the 2010 season.
