Vikings coach Brad Childress says that Brett Favre's hand injury is merely a bent fingernail.
"Not a fractured thumb, or a dislocated wrist, or a season-ending" injury, Childress told the media on Monday.
Favre hurt his throwing hand in Sunday's win over Detroit when he was hit by two defenders on a touchdown toss to rookie Percy Harvin.
"He bent his fingernail," Childress added. "That hurts, too. For those of you who have fingernails, that hurts."
