Fred Jackson could remain the starting running back of the Bills when Marshawn Lynch returns from his suspension.
Lynch will return to Buffalo in Week 4.
"It's a three-week audition," Jackson told the Buffalo News. "The opportunity is here. More than anything, I have to make it my job. That's all that I can control. That decision, when it comes to it, I want to make it a hard decision. That's what my motivation is right now. Make it a tough decision for them."
The News points out that Jackson was the team's best offensive weapon on Monday night against the Patriots.
