The Packers are getting closer to signing rookie B.J. Raji to a contract, a source told the Press Gazette on Sunday. The talks have picked up in part because the Broncos signed Knowshon Moreno, the 12th overall pick, on Friday. Moreno received a five-year contract that included a reported $13 million in guaranteed money and is worth $23 million total. The Denver running back is the closest player taken after Raji, who was taken 9th overall, to sign.
