Vikings wide receiver Bobby Wade believes that Tarvaris Jackson will be the team's starting quarterback. Minnesota is expected to give Jackson and Sage Rosenfels the opportunity to fight for the job during the preseason. However, Wade thinks the job is Jackson's. "Obviously, [Jackson] missed a couple of days so that always plays a toll... You know the timing's really important for every single one of our receivers, the timing with Tarvaris, and Sage for that matter but especially Tarvaris knowing he'll be pretty much the named starter going into the season so timing is everything in this offense," the receiver told the Star Tribune. Wade, who has a history of jaw-dropping quotes, may have just been making a prediction, but his remarks are gaining attention nonetheless.
