Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believes that the team's window of opportunity for a Super Bowl is closing. "We all know there is a short window in careers and there is a short window of coming together with talent," Jones said, according to the San Antonio Express-News. "Now we have got one of the most talented teams I've ever been associated with. We had it last year. And we know that alone doesn't get it. "But in the system we are in, you just can't keep (a team) together all of the time. I'm afraid if we don't accomplish what we all have expectations for, then I'm afraid the time will pass us by, and there is a lot of that on this team." When asked how short he felt the window was, Jones stressed missed opportunities. "I don't know about a short window, but I will say in terms of seasons, we missed a great opportunity last year to do better and to be in a more competitive position. We have to make up for it now," the owner added.
