The Eagles were hoping to have rookie receiver Jeremy Maclin signed by the time training camp opened. Instead, the 19th overall pick has skipped seven days of training camp and a team source indicated on Sunday that there had been no significant progress in talks. "Talks continue but still no conclusion," Maclin's agent, Jim Steiner, wrote to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "Can't say much more other than it's been a challenging deal to complete," Steiner added. "Jeremy [is] doing well."
