A convicted felon who says he had to panhandle to repay a debt to Tom Brady has had his debt erased by a local businessman, according to the Associated Press.
Dennis Paiva was ordered to pay $4,000 after selling Brady's expensive flower boxes for scrap metal. He mistook them for trash near Brady's condo in May 2008.
Dan Greenwald, the owner of a Burlington ad agency, decided to pay the restitution after reading about Paiva's trouble in Friday's edition of the Boston Herald.
