Seattle running back Shaun Alexander set the NFL mark for touchdowns and vaulted ahead of the New York Giants' Tiki Barber for the NFL rushing title in Sunday's game with the Green Bay Packers. On third-and-goal at the 1, Alexander took a handoff from Matt Hasselbeck, got a block from fullback Mack Strong and raised his hand in triumph as he scored his 28th touchdown of the season. Alexander's 100th career TD came with 13 minutes remaining in the second quarter. Alexander, who broke the mark set by Priest Holmes in 2003, carried the ball eight of the last nine plays of the 69-yard scoring drive. Just before halftime, Alexander's 3-yard run put him at 1,863, 3 yards ahead of Barber for the NFL rushing title. Alexander lost a fumble to end the drive -- his first this season.
