The Cowboys reportedly knew when they hired Summit Structures LLC to build their practice facility that a similar structure had collapsed in a storm. A Philadelphia port official made the claim. The similar structure, built for the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority, also suffered damage. Greg Iannarelli, the port authority's chief counsel, said he was contacted by a Cowboys official not long after the structure collapsed during a snowstorm in February 2003. Iannarelli said the Cowboys were considering using Summit and were concerned.
