Leon Washington's agent met with the Jets on Monday in order to negotiate a new deal for his client. Alvin Keels, Washingotn's agent, has refused to returns several e-mails and phone calls for the past several days. The Jets have a policy of not publicly commenting on contract negotiations. Washington, who is due to earn $535,000 in 2009 and is boycotting offseason workouts, was a no-show on Monday for the start of the second week of organized team activities. He had been attending workouts until last Monday when the Jets "lowballed" him with their initial offer.
