Josh Cribbs, upset because the Browns haven't renegotiated his contract, could sit out the next two weeks of voluntary minicamp. A source added that Cribbs could be close to requesting a trade from Cleveland. His complaint is with the seven-year, $6.77 million contract extension he signed in 2006. According to a source, the Browns acknowledged to Cribbs last season he had outperformed his contract. "Contrary to published reports this morning, no one from the current Browns organization, including owner Randy Lerner, has ever made any promises to Josh Cribbs with regard to his contract status," the Browns said in a statement Monday.
