Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain Dealer doesn't believe that Derek Anderson would be happy as the backup quarterback of the Browns. Grossi was asked in a question-and-answer column whether the Browns would keep Anderson as a backup in the event they name Brady Quinn their starting quarterback. "Anderson would not be happy as the backup. Plus, the addition of Brett Ratliff would appear to relieve pressure on the Browns to keep all three. Anderson's trade value will skyrocket if a contending team's starting quarterback goes down with an injury in preseason. A low No. 1 pick or high No. 2 would be the least I'd accept in trade for Anderson," Grossi wrote.
