Bus Cook, the agent for Brett Favre, said Sunday that "there's absolutely no substance to all the speculation" that the quarterback could un-retire. Cook, however, couldn't confirm nor deny the reports that Favre recently sought the advice of a noted surgeon about his battered throwing arm. ESPN reported on Friday that Favre consulted Dr. James Andrews about options for healing the partially torn biceps tendon. There have also been rumors that Favre has met with the Vikings about a return to the NFC. "Have there been meetings (between Favre and the Vikings)? Are there any scheduled? To my knowledge, no," Cook said. "Right now, Brett's retired. He's out there cutting grass."
