Darrius Heyward-Bey took the field for the Raiders for the first time on Friday. Heyward-Bey, Oakland's highly-criticized first round pick, saw the first pass thrown his way by JaMarcus Russell broken up by All-Pro cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. "I came back and I just went, 'All right. I'm not in college any more,' " the receiver said. Asomugha is both impressed with Heyward-Bey's speed and ready to help him learn the ropes. "There's some easy giveaways right now. I'll talk to him about that stuff," Asomugha said. "I saw his eyes. He can't give it away with his eyes, but this was his first practice. I wasn't watching him so I don't know how well he did. But he has speed and speed is always a threat."
