Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner hurt a ligament in his right knee against Houston on Sunday and is likely out for the season. Warner threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin early in the second quarter and walked off the field. He was sacked twice on Arizona's first series, and coach Dennis Green said Warner injured the medial collateral ligament in his right knee on one of those sacks. Backup Josh McCown finished the rest of the first half, but didn't return after halftime because of flulike symptoms. That left the Cardinals with third-string quarterback John Navarre, and Arizona lost 30-19. McCown was ill before the game and received intravenous fluids. At halftime, he told Green that he couldn't return. Houston played without running back Domanick Davis because of a knee injury.
