Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said the team felt no hesitation when they had the chance to take Alabama offensive tackle Andre Smith with the 6th overall pick. "We didn't have any hesitation," said Lewis when asked about the pick. "We discussed this very thoroughly, particularly this week, as far as the order of the top 10 prospects in our minds." Smith was considered one of the candidates to be the first overall pick a few months ago, but his draft stock dropped for a number of reasons. "I was hoping that they were going to draft me," said Smith. "I am really looking forward to coming to Cincinnati. I love the Brown family, and I love coach (Marvin) Lewis."
