The Rams are still very impressed with Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree, who has dropped on some draft boards due to his newfound foot injury. "The thing that he has going for him is you put on the tape and that kind of erases a lot of the question marks that people have," Rams general manager Billy Devaney said. Crabtree wasn't able to run the 40-yard-dash, a workout that many NFL executives hold as invaluable when evaluating wide receivers. "For a lot of people that wasn't a big concern," Devaney said. "What people wanted to see was him run conventional pass routes that you don't really see (in the Texas Tech offense). That's just the nature of the offense. It looks like he can do it. But you know how we are."
