The Cardinals have reportedly promoted linebackers coach Bill Davis to defensive coordinator. Davis was the 49ers' coordinator for two seasons before joining the Cardinals when Whisenhunt was hired two years ago. Arizona fired former defensive coordinator Clancy Pendergast earlier this month.
