David Tyree, who caught the infamous catch of Super Bowl XLII in New York's upset over New England, believes that his grab was better than Santonio Holmes' game-winning score. "If they really want to give it away, they can give it away," Tyree said of the title of greatest catch in Super Bowl history. "If you talk about the drama and everything that was on the line in our game last year, I don't know if all those intangibles were on the line [this year]," he said last night when he was honored at the 29th annual Thurman Munson Awards dinner in Manhattan. "You're talking about an 18-0 Patriots team, 12-point underdogs, and me. Santonio Holmes is a starter, and you have me who had four catches [in the 2007 regular season]."
