NFL commissioner Roger Goodell discussed a number of rules in an interview with NBC's Bob Costas prior to the Super Bowl on Sunday. Goodell also touched on the infamous delay of game call that many believe should have been called on Baltimore's Joe Flacco in a playoff game against Tennessee last month. "It's something that should be able to be reviewed," Goodell said. "It's something that should be able to be corrected if we make a mistake and it's some thing that we'll look at." Costas also asked Goodell about the NFL's overtime rule, and if he would be comfortable with the Super Bowl ending in overtime with a 50-yard field goal without either team touching the ball. "I am, Bob, because that's the rule," Goodell said. "The recognition that the game is going to be determined by a coin flip, I think, forces our teams to play more aggressively during the regulation. But there are a couple of modifications we may consider. As an example, kicking off from a different yard line. The second would be, you could just place the ball at the 20 or 25 and say 'Go.' And you have to drive the ball 30 or 35 yards just to get a shot at a long field goal."
