Jerry Jones said Tuesday that the Cowboys have opened talks with outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware about extending him. Ware has one year left on his deal, and the Cowboys would like to lock him up long-term. Stephen Jones had some discussions with Ware's agent Pat Dye on Tuesday, and they will continue.
