Arizona offensive coordinator Todd Haley was receiving buzz as a potential NFL head coach, and it has elevated after calling the 14-play, 72-yard TD drive to decide the NFC championship while dealing with angry Anquan Boldin yelling at him on the sideline. Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio speculated on the possibility of Haley returning to Valley Ranch, but that seems unlikely. Kansas City Star columnist Jason Whitlock is lobbying for the Chiefs to hire Haley. That makes a lot of sense, especially with Scott Pioli (Bill Parcells' son-in-law) running the show now in Kansas City.
