San Diego cornerback Antonio Cromartie revealed Monday that he played the 2008 season with a fractured hip. A Pro Bowl cornerback last year, Cromartie said he suffered the injury in the second quarter of the season opener, and it should heal with rest. "Hell yeah," Cromartie said when asked if he was looking forward to the offseason. "It came (too) soon, but I'm definitely looking forward to it ? mostly to get my body back in shape, get back healthy and be able to play like I'm supposed to play." Cromartie predicted 15 interceptions for the season after he had a team-record 10 in 2007. He finished 2008 with two picks, both against the Jets on Sept. 22. "I don't have any disappointment about this season," he said. "That taught me how to work through injury, play with injury. I was hurt the whole year. I learned from that. Going into next year, I'm going to put it all together and have a great year."
