The Carolina Panthers have "the inside track to land" Baker Mayfield, according to a report.

There are believed to be several teams interested in acquiring Mayfield from the Cleveland Browns.

Mayfield is unlikely to remain with the Browns after they acquired Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans last month.
