The Seahawks will increase their efforts to trade Tarvaris Jackson this week, according to a report.

Jackson opened training camp as Seattle's No. 1 quarterback, but has fallen behind free agent addition Matt Flynn. The team also likes rookie Russell Wilson.

The Seahawks have not played Jackson in either of their two preseason games.

Complicating the efforts to deal Jackson is his $4 million base salary in 2012, though Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the veteran is willing to alter his contract to accommodate a trade.
