Giants quarterback Eli Manning is still expected to get one of the most lucrative contracts in NFL history.
However, Manning and the Giants remain far apart on negotiations, according to two sources with knowledge of the situation.
Manning is entering the final year of his rookie contract, but both sides expect an agreement to come soon.
The quarterback's agents "want to make him the highest-paid player," according to one report.
Another report has Manning asking for $20 million annually in a new deal.
