Reid: Price For Boldin Was Too High For Us

Eagles coach Andy Reid said on Tuesday in an interview with WIP-AM (610) that the team inquired about Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin prior to last month's draft.
He added that Philadelphia felt the price was too high, hinting that Arizona wanted a first-, third- and fifth-round pick.
"That's a lot of picks, No. 1," Reid said. "And then you're going to pay the guy $10 million. So you get hit on both sides of it."
