Robert Griffin III was outstanding in his NFL debut, throwing for 320 yards and two touchdowns in the Washington Redskins' 40-32 win over the New Orleans Saints.

The Redskins had a +16.5 advantage in the Trench Counter, averaging 12.0 yards per pass and having a +3 turnover differential on the Saints.

Griffin rushed for 42 yards on 10 carries in addition to his 12.3 yards per pass average. Pierre Garcon caught four balls for 109 yards, including an 88-yard touchdown.

Drew Brees threw for 339 yards, but had less than a 50% completion percentage and two interceptions.
