Hey, hey, hey, ?The Coach? is back and after week 5, he?s feeling mighty fine. So how many people think they beat the coach last week? Okay, let?s not all raise our hands at the same time. I know why no one has his or her hand up. Could it be that it is for the simple reason that the coach was 7-for-10? Yes, that?s right 7-for-10 and thanks to Sportsbook.com the coach is here to help you get your roll on. Here are week 6 top ten reasons to make you smile with the coach.
10. Washington @ Kansas City (-5.5)-
Well Washington got stopped cold last week in Denver. Cold rain and cold defense can be the blame for most of that. However, Gibbs coached teams know how to turn things around and that they will do this week in K.C., but it will be another thrilling victory. Nick Novak and special teams will defeat Dante Hall and his special teams with a field goal in the end. Skins win 20-17.
9.Cleveland @ Baltimore (-6)-
Cleveland beat ?Da Bears? last week while Baltimore got absolutely beat up on by the Lions. To even think that the Ravens can beat Cleveland after a disaster like last week gives you an automatic seat on the bench; Right next to Anthony Wright?s future seat if he can?t manage to wake this offense up soon. Upset Special here, Browns win 23-14.
8.Minnesota @ Chicago (-3)-
?Da Bears? got ?da-flated? last week while Minnesota enjoyed the week off. To bad that week off didn?t get anything good accomplished. Instead of focusing on this week?s game the team decided that a ?Booze-Cruise? was the medicine to cure this 1-3 hangover. Good choice guys. Way to get your priorities straight. Party thrower Fred Smoot must still be under the influence thinking win or lose you still booze. Da Bears win by one naked lady and lots of drunken football players, which is equivalent to 24-10.
7. Atlanta (-.5.5) @ New San Antonio Saints-
It?s a tragedy what happened to the city of New Orleans and it was a tragedy what happened to the Saints in Green Bay. Just when things seem like they can?t get any worse the Falcons come to town and come mad. Just getting nipped by the Patriots has to give the Falcons a sense of coming out strong this week. Matt Schaub may be in there for Vick and to be honest with you that is becoming a good thing. Schaub throws three touchdowns in yet another Saints shellacking. Falcons 31-13.
6. New York Jets @ Buffalo (-3)-
Kelly Holcombe may look like he is the savior for the Bills but seeing Miami hand them the ball over five times and committing 18 penalties is the reason why. Vinny is the savior for the Jets and after guiding his new-old team to a victory last week was just what Herman Edwards needed. Upset Special here once again for the Vin-Man. Jets 20, Bills 14.
5. New England @ Denver (-3)-
Denver just barely got a win last week as well as the Patriots did too. This will be a battle here that neither team will want to dare lose. This one comes down to who has the better quarterback and that would be Massachusetts?s favorite bachelor since the Kennedy?s. Tom Brady will find another way to win this week. Upset here, Pats 24 Broncos 21.
4. San Diego (-2) @ Oakland-
Oakland comes out of the bye week 1-3 and really needs a win. San Diego saw a heart breaker on Monday night taken away from them. But in Oakland the song will remain the same, as LaDainian will prove to be way too much for that so-called Raider defense. Chargers strike for five touchdowns winning big 35-17.
3. Houston @ Seattle (-9)-
Houston is searching for their first win of the season and here is a mind blower? It won?t happen here. Seattle is beginning to get things together and Shaun Alexander is going to feast on this Texans defense. Going against Houston every week is becoming a trend. Seattle wins in this no-brainer 28-7.
2. St. Louis @ Indianapolis (-13.5)(51)-
Here is where the coach likes the points. This is going to be a shootout between Bulger and Manning. Whose going to finish with their gun in hand is and who will finish will their gun in holster? That?s easy. Peyton and company are looking to complete a perfect season this year and that perfection will last throughout this week. Indy laps the Rams 41-28.
1.Carolina @ Detroit (-1)-
That?s right this is the coaches number one here. Last week I thought Detroit was going to be the game that would least want to be watched. I was wrong. For some reason it was just great being able to watch what these Lions did to Ray Lewis and company. Your darn right we?re not in Kansas anymore Toto, we?re in Detroit and in Detroit the Lions do have courage. Detroit wins 20-14.
Well if you think like the coach then you think for big wins. Big wins are here this week you just got to believe with me. So let?s recap: Washington outlasts the Chiefs in Kansas City, Minnesota remains hungover, Vinny is the man for second week in a row, and Shaun Alexander runs wild at home against the winless Texans. If you think you have what it takes to beat the coach then send in your top ten to the coach @ [email protected] and I?ll show you why they call me ?The Coach?.
