Tiki Barber: Only 20 yards shy of Shaun Alexander on the ground, but 18 short on rushing touchdowns. Nobody thought the Giants would win the East and he was the main reason why they did. 4. Carson Palmer: Joined Peyton and Brady as one of the AFC?s top passers and his 32 touchdowns was more than either. 5. Larry Johnson: A staggering 20 touchdowns and 1750 yards this season, plus he had to share the ball with Priest Holmes for seven weeks. Without a doubt, Grandmama will be the number one pick in the vast majority of fantasy drafts come August. 6. Peyton Manning: A down season by his standards, but still a career year for 28 other NFL QB?s. 7. LaDainian Tomlinson: Trailed off significantly during the final few weeks due to injury, but his 18 TD?s and 1462 yards puts him amongst the league best. 8. Edgerrin James: Eclipsed the 1500 yard mark and rushed for 13 TD?s in a contract year. 9. Chad Johnson: ?No more Bungles? said Johnson. When you have as many big plays as he did in 2005, you warrant that swagger. 10. Clinton Portis: 1516 yards + 11 touchdowns = a very nice second season with the ?Skins. 11. Tom Brady: Brady led the league in yards and willed the Patriots injuries to another divisional title. 12. Marvin Harrison: Yet another double-digit tally on the TD column for the future Hall of Famer. 13. Antonio Gates: Without a doubt, the best tight end in the NFL this season. 14. Rudi Johnson: This Cincinnati Johnson was the true workhorse that made the Bengals go, rushing for 1458 yards and 12 TD?s. 15. Hines Ward: 11 touchdowns in the Steelers system means another superb year for the blue-collar WR. 16. Mike Anderson: Like Larry Johnson, Anderson put up ridiculous numbers despite splitting time with Tatum Bell. His 12 touchdowns makes that Champ Bailey trade look even finer. 17. Matt Hasselbeck: He remains one of the NFL?s most overlooked talents. His steady play (only 9 INT?s) was as crucial to Seattle securing the best record in the NFC as Alexander?s was. 18. Larry Fitzgerald: A lethal playmaker who put up great numbers (10 TD?s and 1409 yards) for a bad team. 19. Thomas Jones: His 9 TD?s and 1335 yards gave the Bears defense enough to work with. 20. Chris Chambers: Chambers helped Nick Saban finish off his first season in Miami very strongly, looking to next season with great optimism. 21. Santana Moss: Moss spear-headed the Redskins late surge and ended up second in the NFL in receiving yards behind Steve Smith.
