According to the Associated Press, Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania is working to set a meeting in stone with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for next week. Specter wants to discuss the way the league handled the destruction of the infamous 'SpyGate' tapes they received from the penalized New England Patriots. Specter told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, "The commissioner's explanation as to why he destroyed the tapes does not ring true."
