New England Coach Bill Belichick is defending lineman Richard Seymour from a charge that he played dirty in Sunday's AFC Title game.
San Diego center Nick Hardwick called Seymour "a dirty, cheap, little pompous [expletive]" after the Patriots' 21-12 win.
Belichick responded to the news, which isn't something the stone-faced coach normal does, by saying, "That's the last thing I would say about Richard."
