Bob Sanders was a safety in name only on Sunday. He spent more time stationed near the line of scrimmage like a linebacker as the Colts loaded "the box'' in an attempt at stopping Tennessee's running game.
"Actually I was right next to Gary (Brackett) the whole time, so it did kind of feel like I was playing 'backer,'' Sanders said.
Sanders was credited with a team-high 11 tackles and 21/2 sacks, which were the first sacks of his four-year career.
"It's exciting,'' he said. "That's the way our defense is. They put me in a great situation where I can make tackles."
