Tony Dungy said he'll be "curious to see" whether the legacies of New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and his team will be tarnished by the videotaping scandal that brought harsh penalties Thursday. But the Indianapolis Colts coach was unequivocal about one thing: "It's a sad day for the NFL," Dungy said Friday. "It's another case of the 99 percent good things that are happening being overshadowed by 1 percent bad." The Patriots were caught illegally videotaping signals by New York Jets coaches during last Sunday's game, and the league came down hard: a $500,000 fine for Belichick, a $250,000 fine for the team and the loss of at least one draft pick. Dungy said he felt bad for owner Robert Kraft and the team's players who have won three of the past six Super Bowls. "Those are guys I talk about to our team of the way you do things, the way you represent the NFL," he said. "We've got two (former Patriots) on our team, Adam (Vinatieri) and Dan Klecko, that are the same way. They're going to be linked now with negative, and that's too bad."
